A few studio shots of the updated Hero Xpulse 200T have leaked on the internet just a few days after a test mule of the motorcycle was spotted on the internet. It confirms that the new Hero Xpulse 200T will be released soon, and the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has made some minor changes to the motorcycle’s design to make it more appealing than before.
Updated Hero Xpulse 200T- Front Profile Changes

The leaked studio shots of the updated Hero Xpulse 200T by ACI reveal a new dual-tone grey and lime green colour scheme, with more dual-tone paint schemes expected in the motorcycle this time. The new updated version of the Xpulse 200T has a few visual differences from the previous version, such as a small black tinted visor above the rounded headlamp. The motorcycle also gets rubber gaiters for the front telescopic forks, which give it a rugged appearance when viewed from the front.
Updated Hero Xpulse 200T- Side Profile Changes

Moving towards the side profile, the updated Hero Xpulse 200T now gets a bigger belly pan, which now fully covers the lower portion of the exhaust bend pipe. The grab rail for the pillion rider has also been redesigned, which is now more functional to look at with its tubular design. The long single-piece seat also looks a bit new, with more padding and a dual-tone black and grey look to it. The side body panels below the rider’s seat now get body-colored treatment, unlike the all-black finish in the previous version. There are no changes to the tail lamp, LED rounded headlamp, and clear lens turn indicators and the previously available fully-digital instrument console is also expected to be retained.
Updated Hero Xpulse 200T- Updated Engine

Apart from these visual changes, the new Hero Xpulse 200T is expected to receive the new four-valve layout for its 200cc engine, much like the updated Xpulse 200 4V. Currently, this engine claims a power output of 19.2 PS and a peak torque output of 17.35 Nm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox in the Xpulse 200 4V. It is expected that the new Xpulse 200T will likely retain the engine in this same state of tune.
Updated Hero Xpulse 200T- Rivals

The new Hero Xpulse 200T will be positioned above the Xtreme 160R and below the other 200cc motorcycles from Hero Motocorp, including the Xtreme 200S and Xpulse 200 4V. The new Xpulse 200T will directly compete with the newly-launched TVS Ronin, apart from a slew of premium 150cc commuter offerings like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar N160.
